Thousands gathered at Ynares Center, Antipolo Saturday to catch ABS-CBN’s first ever Bida Kapamilya public service fair that ended with a variety show featuring the network’s most sought after stars.
Job hunters arrived even before sunrise to make sure they will make it to the job fair organized by “Ako Ang Simula” movement. Their efforts are all worth it, as most of them instantly got hired for work positions.
Those who availed of the free services from “Salamat Dok’s” medical and dental mission also came early.
For a lot of people, going to Ynares wasn’t a hassle as “TODA Max” tricycles from select locations gave them free rides.
Despite being busy from work, broadcast journalists Sol Aragones and Ariel Ureta, and radio anchor Joe D’ Mango took time off to partake in DZMM TLC’s book reading session.
Rizal provincial Gov. Casimiro Ynares III also had fun with the DJs and participated as guest in Tambayan 101.9’s remote broadcast.
After the event’s whole-day public service offerings, a variety show was held showcasing the performances of Kathryn Bernardo, Enrique Gil, Daniel Padilla and Khalil Ramos of “Princess and I” and Bangs Garcia and Jake Cuenca of “Kung Ako’y Iiwan Mo.”
The cast of “Wako Wako,” “Luv U,” “Oka2kat,” and the recently ended “Angelito Batang Ama” were also there to bring some happiness to the fans.
The audience was also serenaded by “ASAP” Boy R Boys (BRBs) Markki Stroem and Bryan Termulo. ASAP Sessionistas Princess and Sitti and “Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2” grand winner Marcelito Pomoy also performed.
The Bida Kapamilya event will go to the different parts of the country to give public service to more Filipinos. For more updates, logon to http://twitter.com/abscbndotcom.
