Shaina Magdayao will be paired once again with Jake Cuenca in the upcoming afternoon teleserye with the newest title “Kung Ako’y Iiwan Mo” (from the working title, “Doha“). The first time they have worked together is in an episode of “Your Song: A Million Miles Away,” the fantaserye “Dragonna” and then the primetime teleserye “Rubi.” They have all been successful on their series together so we’ll hope that “Kung Ako’y Iiwan Mo” will be another raging success on their team-up.
The two recently flew to Doha, Qatar where 70 percent of the series are to be shot. The show will resolve around OFW’s working in Doha, Qatar on contracts. Will be an interesting change to local shows having some scenes from the Middle East.
According to Jake, they are almost done taping and the management are just looking for the right timing to air the new show.
