“Wako Wako” is an upcoming ABS-CBN fantasy series for kids. “Wako-Wako” is set to become the next big hit on Philippine TV. The new fantasy drama-show will air soon on ABS-CBN Primetime Bida this March 2012 and is rumored to replace “Maria La del Barrio.” ABS-CBN already announced that “Maria La Del Barrio” will only have three weeks of airing.
Top billed by comedy-concert queen and film actress Ai-Ai de las Alas with new child-actor Yogo Singh. “Wako-Wako” is a fancy creature that will be with Maki and Ai in many adventures though-out the series.
Yogo was seen in several Kapuso shows, the latest being “Futbolilits.” He also plays the young Daniel (Coco Martin) in the teleserye “Walang Hanggan.” Yogo is actually an alumnus of “Star Circle Search for the Next Kiddie Superstar” with batchmates Bugoy Carino and Xyriel Manabat. Yogo did not emerged in the top 5 and Bugoy (the star of “E-boy“) is the eventual winner.
Part of the show’s cast is the returning Kapamilya Vandolph Quizon who will be playing loving Dad of Maki and a responsible police man in the story. While Gladys Reyes will be playing Maki’s (Yogo) sweet-loving mother in the story.
Other member of its cast includes Maricar de Mesa, Malou de Guzman, Dennis Padilla, Carlos Agassi, Markki Stroem, Liezel Garcia, Eagle Riggs, Abby Bautista, DJ Durano and Franco Daza.
