The movie, “UnOfficially Yours,” starring John Lloyd Cruz and Angel Locsin, made its debut on February 15 and earned P18.5 million on its opening day. After earning the P18.5 million on its opening day the movie “Unofficially Yours” is now on its P100 million ticket sales in one week. Star Cinema’s Valentine offering, “Unofficially Yours,” is now officially a mega-hit after gross revenues have topped P100 million in just over a week.
It is now expected to rapidly hit the 200 million pesos after its second week. The movie can possibly overtake last year’s hit love story, “No Other Woman,” which hit P 220 million plus income as the second-highest grossing Philippine movie of all time after “Praybeyt Benjamin,” which earned P320 million plus total gross. This is now John Lloyd‘s seventh film to make more than P100 million in its local release.
The movie was directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina who are known as box office director whose films always marks to the box office. It really proves that John Lloyd Cruz – Cathy Molina tandem is a certified box office. The two are behind the box office hit “One More Chance” together with Bea Alonzo and sequels “ A Very Special Love” and “You Change My Life” both with Sarah Geronimo.

Akala ko ba 100M ang one week ng Unofficially Yours? As usual PADDED na naman ang Star cinema hahaha.
last report P113M+ na in less than
2 weeks
but their latest unofficial latest report is around P200M
btw, why’s there no more tv trailers/teasers for Unofficially Yours
we saw many people still watching but seems Starcinema is not keen to release any figures
up to now it still has more people watching than the more recent releases on its 3rd week
2 strange things- lack of tv trailers or absence in the case of week 3
Its obvious Starcinema intends to undereport the true earnings of this movie
as well as make less hype of it intentionally by not giving us enough tv trailer/teasers
so unusual for a Starcinema movie?
I dont think its not that ABSCBN doesnt want to broadcast the real figures of this movie but rather shows a statement. John Lloyd cruz and Angel Locsin Tandem do not need to show acting like a couple but rather show their acting skills as an artist. Besides Pilipinos are conservative with this kind of movie if you are not very open minded it can be interpreted in a different ways.
