The entry of twins Anthony and David Semerad as fake swap housemates in the Pinoy Big Brother house last Sunday (Feb 5) ushered in this week’s ‘Double Trouble’ twist that will flog the housemates with more extreme difficulties and challenges.
In the ‘Big Fake Swap,’ the Czech-Filipino twin basketball players are ordered to act as swap housemates from Big Brother Czech and go up against the Teams Wayuk and High Voltage in the upcoming Kontra Battle.
Paco and Tin were also named as the latest nominees this week, but this time, both are not allowed to tell on their nominations to their fellow housemates. Tin was nominated for losing in the challenge that resulted from her, Kevin, and Pamu’s failure in “The Big Road Trip” task last week. Paco, on the other hand, was automatically nominated for discussing with Seiichi and Kevin his possible nomination, which is against the PBB house rules.
Meanwhile, ex-housemate Joya disclosed that Unad does not hold grudges against her for unintentionally booting him out of the competition when she chose Unad to be the least deserving housemate to enter the Top 14 in one of Big Brother’s challenges.
“It actually made our friendship stronger. Unad is sport enough to accept that whatever happened in that game was just part of PBB,” she explained.
Joya also expressed her disappointment in evictees who chose to voluntarily exit or were forcibly evicted due to melancholy and unwillingness to stay in the house.
“It’s just disheartening because could have stayed longer; she had amassed a huge percentage of the viewers’ votes. She should have been stronger. The sadness inside the house is normal; it hits you in all forms and angles,” she said.
She added that the competition among housemates should be fought the natural way – through the viewers’ votes – and not by quitting. Wendy, who initially seemed incompetent in dealing with demanding tasks and discomfort was finally evicted from the PBB house last Saturday (Feb 4) for garnering the less percentage of votes (46.41%) against fellow nominee and close friend Deniesse (53.59%).
