“Maalaala Mo Kaya” shares this Saturday (January 14) the inspiring story of Jeff and Kurt Bringas or better known as the ‘Bringas Brothers,’ the 3rd place winners of the number one talent reality search in the country, “Pilipinas Got Talent Season 3.”
Starring real life brothers Rayver and Rodjun Cruz as Jeff and Kurt, the episode narrates the struggle the brothers had to go through to achieve their dreams. Witness in the story how Jeff (Rodjun) gave up everything in order to help his younger brother gain his self-esteem back after his left leg was amputated after being diagnosed with bone cancer, and how music moved them to reach their goals, despite disappointment and rejections.
Sharing the small screen with the Cruz brothers are Valerie Concepcion, Nash Aguas, Ismael Clavero, Allan Paule, Melissa Mendez, Linn Oeymo, Laisa Comia, Angel Sy, Jobelle Salvador, and Raul Montessa. The ‘Bringas Brothers Story’ was researched by Mae Rose Balanay, written by Benjamin Benson Logronio, and directed by Mae Czarina R. Cruz.
