Three of the country’s most respected, trusted, and credible broadcast journalists have teamed up nightly to give Filipinos here and abroad the latest headlines and analysis of important issues that impact their daily lives.
Veteran journalists Angelo Castro Jr., Tina Monzon Palma, and Teddyboy Locsin anchor the country’s longest-running and award-winning English primetime newscast, “The World Tonight,” on ANC, the ABS-CBN News Channel (SkyCable channel 27) that is celebrating its 15th anniversary.
Viewers welcomed the return of Angelo, who has been anchoring “The World Tonight” since it returned on air via ABS-CBN in 1986 and moved to ANC in 1999, when he went on board last week with Tina and Teddyboy.
The powerhouse combination of Angelo, Tina, and Teddyboy elicited positive messages from audiences who posted comments on social networking site Facebook and microblogging site Twitter.
Aside from Angelo’s return, it was also a homecoming for opinion columnist extraordinaire Locsin to the Kapamilya network. Teddyboy, who used to anchor ABS-CBN’s current affairs program “Assignment,” gives his in-depth analysis on latest news events in his commentary segment titled “Teditorial.”
Know what’s happening here and abroad from the pillars of Philippine broadcast journalism by watching Angelo, Tina, and Teddboy delivering the latest news in “The World Tonight” on ANC, weeknights at 10 PM.
