Even though homosexuals are increasingly gaining acceptance in Philippine society, the country’s conservative culture and the Catholic Church’s strong disapproval of them make it hard for lesbians, gays, bisexuals, and transgender individuals (LGBT) to “come out.”
This is even harder for young people who go through a period of confusion and insecurity for feeling different at such a young age.
For its month-long anniversary special’s first offering, “Patrol ng Pilipino” will explore tomorrow (October 25) the intricate lives of young homosexuals as part of a family and the community – from experiencing identity crisis to openly declaring they belong to the third sex.
Sol Aragones will feature two minors who have confessed to their families that they are gay and see how they have been able to live through people’s judgment.
Learn how parents can reach out to their homosexual child so they don’t feel left out and to help them reach their full potential.
All these and more in “Patrol ng Pilipino” tomorrow (October 25) after “Bandila” on ABS-CBN, or watch it earlier on DZMM TeleRadyo (SkyCable ch. 26), 9:15 PM.
