As Filipinos commemorate All Saints Day this November, the country’s Trivia King Kuya Kim will tackle things related to death and break myths and superstitions on Sunday (Oct 23) in “Matanglawin.”
Kuya Kim looks back into the death of former president Cory Aquino where 500,000 people attended and is recognized as the largest funeral of the 21st century.
He will also look at some common beliefs and find out the reason why some people put yellow chicks on top of coffins or wear black or white when attending a wake.
And he will discuss how people bury the dead like cremation, mummification, and even sending the coffin to outer space just like what science fiction writer Gene Rodenberry did.
Is death really the end of the road for us or there is something waiting us after in the afterlife?
Don’t miss “Matanglawin” this Sunday (Oct 23), 9:30 AM on ABS-CBN.
