Angelico Jones (Wendell Ramos) is a celestial being who applied for a position in heaven. Not quite meeting the requirement, he was put on probationary or OJT (On the Job Training) status pending the experience and insight required for the position. So he was sent to earth in human form to watch over two misfits and somehow guide them back to the right path, all that, without revealing his true being. He works as a laborer in a wet market or talipapa in a small community in Cubao, Quezon City.
Miggy (Long Mejia) & Paeng (Joey Marquez) have been friends since they were kids growing up in the streets and alleys of Cubao. They share a bond that is strong as it is unique… they both love Ramon Revilla movies! Bullied and pushed around as kids, they grew up to believe in anting-antings and agimats as possible sources of supernatural powers that they could really use to lift them up from their pathetic lives. Now they are grown men. Miggy runs a barber shop while Paeng operates a Bilyaran (billiard hall). They seem to be doing well now. The only problem is, they are still being bullied and they have not quite outgrown their quest to find more anting-antings and agimats.
The bullies are the Bakal Gang led by Don Serafin (Sammy Lagmay). A one time tough guy who, over the years, has deteriorated into a wheezing old goat. Nowadays, nobody except his (idiotic) goons, seems to respect or fear him anymore. Some of the young street kids even make fun of them and call them Bakla Gang instead of Bakal Gang. There’s nothing that Don or his gang can do because they’re too old to chase after these swift footed juvenile delinquents. Desperate to regain past glories, Don Sulweta tries to assert himself by picking on two guys he thinks he can push around easily, namely Miggy and Paeng.
But things are different now. This time, (although they don’t know it) Pepe and Nardo have Angelico Jones on their side! Sparingly and secretly, Angelico uses his unearthly powers to make sure that these two don’t get into serious trouble. Somehow though, as Angelico gradually realizes, these two clowns are getting to be a bit more than he bargained for.
