For the last quarter of 2010, GMA-7 aired its first original Sinenovela offering, Kris Bernal’s Koreana, and Iza Calzado’s Beauty Queen.
On October 25, the Kapuso Network will air the pilot episode of Little Star, which will be topbilled by Jennylyn Mercado, Lovi Poe, and Mark Anthony Fernandez. It will also introduce the Network’s newest child star named Nicky Castro. This afternoon drama series directed by Maryo J. delos Reyes will also star Paolo Contis and Rich Asuncion.
Inspired by the fairy tale Thumbelina, the Kapuso Network will present a its newest telefantasya titled Dwarfina. Heart Evangelista is cast as a young woman who is cursed to be no higher than six inches.
She will fall in love with a mortal portrayed by Dennis Trillo and completing their love triangle will be former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Will Devaughn.
Dwarfina will also star Lani Mercado, Jackie Lou Blanco, Mark Bautista, Emilio Garcia, and Pauleen Luna.
