What’s a good enough reason for Willie Revillame to come out of his vacation and appear before a live television audience again.. and not in ABS-CBN yet!
One word: Friendship!
There was no occasion, no birthday celebration as reported by an entertainment website (not STIR, for sure). Willie just wanted to surprise John Estrada, Party On Five’s main host and one of his best buddies. So last Sunday night when the show was being taped, Willie surprised John by making an on-cam appearance.
When asked by STIR how it is like to be in front of an audience again, the first time we did so since he went on leave from Wowowee starting May 5, he replied: Ökay naman. Masaya naman lahat ng tao. Pati si John masaya.”
Can Willie be missing the audience he made happy everyday for five long years? While he’s enjoying the vacation doing all the things he missed during his hectic life as Wowowee host like golfing (Äng sarap pumalo,” he says) and yachting, there’s no doubt he misses loyal friends and avid supporters!
This showed in the way he answered STIR’s questions! He has never been as fast as he has the time and he is relaxed.
