Carlo Aquino is very happy to be a part of Ang Tanging Ina Niyong Lahat, Star Cinema’s entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival. This movie—headlined by Ai-Ai de las Alas—is the sequel to the 2003 blockbuster Ang Tanging Ina. The cast is excited about their on-screen reunion and during the pictorial for the film, ABS-CBN.com spoke with Carlo about how he feels about returning to the big screen playing Ai-Ai’s son.
“Masarap kasi ang last movie ko with Star Cinema is yung Ang Tanging Ina. After five years, Carlo and other stars playing Ai-Ai’s children like Shaina Magdayao, Serena Dalrymple, and Alwyn Uytingco are now all grown up. Despite the time that had passed, Carlo revealed that some things never changed when they got together during the shooting of the film. Nagtutulungan kami. Kapag may inaantok ginigising namin (laughs).
In the past couple of years Carlo had done programs in other networks and for the shoot and promotion of Ang Tanging Ina Niyong Lahat, he got to visit the ABS-CBN compound again.
He is now being managed by Viva, hence he is more free to do projects in any network. But Carlo admitted that he would love to do a project at ABS-CBN once again given the chance. After being in showbiz for over a decade, Carlo said that respect is one thing that he values the most.
