In a movie review by the blogger J.I.E Teodoro, published on GMANetwork.com last December 31 with the title “Ai Ai is ‘Sisterakas” Saving Grace,” the author pointed “Sisterakas (Star Cinema and Viva Films) as a “shamelessly “money-trip” movie, driven purely by profit.” The author also said that it is “ironic that the backdrop of the story of this movie is the fashion world which is supposed to be about class and taste, but this movie is a twisted celebration of poor taste.“
As a reaction to this upon seeing the movie review, Kris Aquino on her Twitter account posted:
“Read the piece. Simple reply, how sad for him because i’m here to stay & will try my best to bug him for many yrs more!”
Replied Kris to one of her followers who said that the review is biased:
“Actually it wasn’t a review, more of a personal attack against me, that’s y I am grateful to my audience because u negate his view”
“OA na hatred for me diba? Hehehe- kaya para lalong mabwisit by February i’ll be on TV 12X a wk! Kris Tv(5), KKI(5) & PGT(2).”
Netizens also react on the post:
