Get to know the difference between possession and oppression, and along the journey, hear real-life stories of exorcism.
Exorcism is the process of warding off evil spirits that are either in full or partly in possession of a person. Every year, there are about 15,000 cases of possession according to a report made by international media outfit CNN.
Some of these even possessions have become inspirations for Hollywood movies like “The Exorcist” or “The Exorcism of Emily Rose.”
According to priests Father Jocis Syquia and Father Jojo Zerrudo, who specialize under the Office of Exorcism under the Catholic Church, possession and exorcism are scarier in real life than on the big screen.
Get to know more about exorcism this Sunday (Oct 28) in “Matanglawin,” 9:15 AM on ABS-CBN.
