With the intention of finding the country’s next biggest stars, TV5 joins forces with the Asian Academy of Television Arts, to provide the future stars intensive training in the various performing arts.


At first glance, it is easy to typecast Sophie as the sweet girl-next-door. But behind her bright smile, one can sense the forlorn spirit of someone who is eager to break out of her shell. Having lived half her life seeing her beloved dad in a coma, Sophie has managed to distract herself with extreme sports and being “one of the boys”. In Artista Academy, she is expected to bloom and become one of the prettiest and most talented actresses of this generation.

Sophie is one of the 16 students of Asian Academy for Television Arts (AATA) which will have the chance to have the glamorous artista life and an astounding 20 million pesos worth of prizes await the ultimate Best Actor and Best Actress, making Artista Academy the biggest reality artista search in the country.
