GMA Films romantic youth-oriented movie “Tween Academy: Class of 2012” that was shown last year is reported to have its sequel this year. Directed by Mark Reyes, the movie follows an entirely different storyline from the hit TV series “Tween Hearts” and features a new set of characters, each with a unique story to bring.
“Tween Academy: Class of 2012” is the story of three high school outcasts on the onset of puberty. Enzo (Elmo Magalona), Kara (Barbie Forteza) and George (Bea Binene) have always been made fun of, and they’re also always the last to be befriended by anyone. So at the start of their junior year, they make a promise to each other that they will do whatever they can to change their social standings. From being zeroes, the three will work their way to becoming part of the popular crowd.
According to our sources, this movie began taping early this week. This sequel movie of the hit “Tween Academy: Class of 2012” movie will also features new Tween stars of the Kapuso Network. They are hitting to set the playdate of this movie on the third week of August.
